Digital Banking Upgrade FAQs
A New Digital Banking Experience is Coming August 17, 2026.
ESB Financial is upgrading our banking system and digital banking platform to provide a more modern, secure, and enhanced banking experience for our clients.
We know you may have questions about the upcoming upgrade. This page will be updated regularly as we get closer to launch.

General Questions
- Why is ESB making this change?

We’re investing in a new core banking system and digital banking platform to provide a better banking experience for our clients. These upgrades will give us improved technology, enhanced functionality, and a stronger foundation for future banking services.

- What is changing?

ESB will be launching a new digital banking platform and upgrading our core banking system. You will notice changes to online banking, mobile banking, and certain digital banking features.
Additional information will be shared as we get closer to launch.

Your relationship with ESB.
Your deposits remain safe and secure.
Your local team remains the same.
Our commitment to providing exceptional service remains the same.

Upgrade Weekend
- When will the upgrade take place?

The system upgrade process will begin on Friday, August 14, 2026, and our new digital banking experience is expected to be available on Monday, August 17, 2026.

- Will the bank be open during the upgrade?

Our banks will be closed on Saturday, August 15, while our team completes the system upgrade.
Additional details regarding service availability will be provided as we get closer to launch.

- Will my debit card still work?

Yes.
Your debit card will continue to work during Upgrade Weekend.
Please note that temporary stand-in processing limits may apply during portions of the upgrade period. Additional information will be shared prior to launch.

Online & Mobile Banking
- Will I need to do anything after launch?

Yes.
You will need to enroll in the new digital banking platform after launch.

- Will there be a new mobile banking app?

Yes.
If you are an Apple User and your app is set to update automatically, you'll simply need to re-enroll in online or the mobile banking app after the upgrade.
If your app does not update automatically, you'll first need to update the app through your device's app store, then complete the one-time re-enrollment process.
- If you are Google User, you will need to delete your app and re-download to access the new digital banking upgrade.

- Will my username and password stay the same?

When you enroll in the new Digital Banking platform, you'll create your login credentials. If you'd like, you may be able to use your previous username and password, provided they meet the new system requirements.

- Will my account history be available?

Account history and transaction information will continue to be available.

Transfers, Alerts & Bill Pay
- Will my account alerts transfer automatically?

No.
You will need to recreate alerts and notifications after enrolling in the new digital banking platform.
Instructions will be provided after launch.

- Will my recurring transfers transfer automatically?

No.
You will need to recreate recurring transfers after enrolling in the new digital banking platform.
Instructions will be provided after launch.

- What happens to Bill Pay?

As part of ESB Financial's Digital Banking Upgrade, Bill Pay is moving to our new Online and Mobile Banking platform launching August 17, 2026. While many of your Bill Pay details will transfer automatically, there are a few important dates and actions you'll want to know before the upgrade.

- Will all my Bill Pay History show up in the new platform?

No.
Your previous Bill Pay payment history will not transfer to the new system. If you'd like to keep a copy for your records, please download your payment history before August 7, 2026.

- When will Bill Pay be unavailable?

Bill Pay will be unavailable beginning August 10 and will remain unavailable throughout Upgrade Weekend.
Bill Pay will be available again after you complete your one-time enrollment into the new Digital Banking platform beginning August 17.

- Will my scheduled payments transfer?
-
Payments scheduled through August 14 will process as scheduled.
Any payments scheduled after August 14 will not transfer and will need to be scheduled again after you enroll in the new Digital Banking platform.

- Will my payees transfer?

Most of them.
Payees you've made payments to within the last 180 days will automatically transfer to the new system.
If you added a new payee after August 1, 2026, you'll need to add that payee again after the upgrade.

Business Banking

Will I need to do anything after the upgrade weekend?

Yes.
You will need to enroll in the new digital banking platform after launch.
Step-by-step instructions will be provided before Upgrade Weekend and will also be available on this page.

- Will Treasury Management services be affected?
-
Treasury Management clients will receive additional communications regarding important dates and any actions that may be required.

- Will ACH and payroll processing be affected?
-
Business clients will receive detailed communication regarding ACH and payroll deadlines prior to Upgrade Weekend.

Security & Fraud Awareness
- How will I know if a message is really from ESB?
-
Throughout the upgrade process, ESB may communicate by email, mail, phone, social media, and through our website.
If you are unsure whether a communication is legitimate, please contact us directly.

- Will ESB ever ask for my password?
-
No.
ESB will never call, text, or email you asking for:
- Passwords
- Secure access codes
- Debit card PINs
- Full debit card numbers
If you receive a suspicious request, contact us immediately.
