ESB Financial is upgrading our banking system and digital banking platform to provide a more modern, secure, and enhanced banking experience for our clients.
We know you may have questions about the upcoming upgrade. This page will be updated regularly as we get closer to launch.

General Questions
- Why is ESB making this change?

We’re investing in a new core banking system and digital banking platform to provide a better banking experience for our clients. These upgrades will give us improved technology, enhanced functionality, and a stronger foundation for future banking services.

ESB will be launching a new digital banking platform and upgrading our core banking system. Clients will notice changes to online banking, mobile banking, and certain digital banking features.

Upgrade Weekend
- When will the upgrade take place?

The system upgrade process will begin on Friday, August 14, 2026, and our new digital banking experience is expected to be available on Monday, August 17, 2026.

- Will the bank be open during the upgrade?

Our banks will be closed on Saturday, August 15, while our team completes the system upgrade.
Additional details regarding service availability will be provided as we get closer to launch.

- Will my debit card still work?

Yes.
Your debit card will continue to work during Upgrade Weekend.
Please note that temporary stand-in processing limits may apply during portions of the upgrade period. Additional information will be shared prior to launch.

Online & Mobile Banking
- Will I need to do anything after launch?

Yes.
Clients will need to enroll in the new digital banking platform after launch.
Step-by-step instructions will be provided before Upgrade Weekend and will also be available on this page.

- Will there be a new mobile banking app?

No.
If your app is set to update automatically, you'll simply need to re-enroll in online and mobile banking after the upgrade.
If your app does not update automatically, you'll first need to update the app through your device's app store, then complete the one-time re-enrollment process.

- Will my username and password stay the same?

We are currently finalizing details regarding the enrollment process and will provide specific instructions before launch.

- Will my account history be available?

Account history and transaction information will continue to be available. Additional details will be shared as we get closer to launch.

Transfers, Alerts & Bill Pay
- Will my account alerts transfer automatically?

No.
Clients will need to recreate alerts and notifications after enrolling in the new digital banking platform.
Instructions will be provided after launch.

- Will my recurring transfers transfer automatically?

No.
Clients will need to recreate recurring transfers after enrolling in the new digital banking platform.
Instructions will be provided after launch.

- What happens to Bill Pay?

Business Banking

Will I need to do anything after the upgrade weekend?

Yes.
Clients will need to enroll in the new digital banking platform after launch.

- Will Treasury Management services be affected?

Treasury Management clients will receive additional communications regarding important dates and any actions that may be required.

- Will ACH and payroll processing be affected?

Business clients will receive detailed communication regarding ACH and payroll deadlines prior to Upgrade Weekend.

Security & Fraud Awareness
- How will I know if a message is really from ESB?

Throughout the upgrade process, ESB may communicate by email, mail, phone, social media, and through our website.
If you are unsure whether a communication is legitimate, please contact us directly.

- Will ESB ever ask for my password?

No.
ESB will never call, text, or email you asking for:
- Passwords
- Secure access codes
- Debit card PINs
- Full debit card numbers
If you receive a suspicious request, contact us immediately.
