Emporia Summer Explorer Log

Emporia Summer Explorer Log

This summer, ESB Financial is proud to participate in the Emporia Summer Explorer Log hosted by the Emporia Arts Council.

The Explorer Log encourages local families to explore arts, culture, reading, and community activities throughout Emporia during the summer months.

As part of the program, ESB Financial is helping young savers start learning smart money habits early.

About the Emporia Summer Explorer Log

The Emporia Summer Explorer Log is a community-wide initiative that encourages youth and families to explore local businesses, arts organizations, educational opportunities, and community activities throughout the summer.

Participants complete activities around Emporia and collect stamps throughout the summer for chances to win prizes and incentives.

How It Works at ESB Financial

During June and July, kids can visit any ESB Emporia bank location and open a youth savings account with a parent or guardian.

When the account is opened:

ESB Financial will deposit $20 into the account

Kids will receive a Summer Savings Packet filled with:

  • savings tips
  • a savings goal tracker
  • fun financial literacy activities
  • an ESB coloring page
  • ESB piggy bank

Our goal is to help kids begin building healthy money habits while participating in a fun community-wide summer program.

To Open a Youth Savings Account

Please bring:

  • Parent/guardian photo ID
  • Child’s Social Security Number
  • Minimum opening deposit (if applicable)
