On March 11, ESB Financial will host a community open house at our Merchant Street Bank (801 Merchant Street) from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. We invite you to stop by, say hello, and celebrate this special milestone with us.

Enjoy Smokin’ O’s BBQ, birthday cake, sweet treats, and a few fun surprises, along with time to connect with our team and fellow community members.

Throughout the bank, you’ll also find displays highlighting our 125-year history — including historic downtown Emporia photos, stories about our founder Will Wayman, and moments from each decade that show how ESB and our community have grown together. From being known in 1901 as “The Only Bank in Emporia Making Farm Loans” to the full range of services we offer today, it’s a meaningful look at where we started and where we’re headed.

This celebration isn’t just about our history — it’s about the families, businesses, and neighbors who have trusted us along the way.
