EMPORIA, Kansas — ESB Financial recently presented a donation of $4,659 to SOS Inc., proceeds raised through ESB's 125th Anniversary Golf Tournament held on May 22 at the Emporia Municipal Golf Course.

Despite rainy weather, 27 teams participated in the tournament, which brought together local businesses, community members, sponsors, and volunteers to support the important work SOS provides throughout the region.

The event was especially meaningful as ESB Financial celebrates its 125th anniversary and SOS Inc. celebrates 50 years of serving individuals and families in the community.

"We are incredibly grateful to everyone who participated, sponsored, volunteered, and supported the tournament," said Kandace Wakeman, AVP Marketing at ESB Financial. "This event was about more than golf. It was an opportunity to bring our community together and support an organization that has made a lasting impact on countless lives over the past 50 years."

All proceeds from the tournament were donated directly to SOS Inc. to support its mission of providing advocacy, support services, and resources to individuals and families in need.
